Whisper-Fungus is an ambient spore network that mimics conversations across Myrrun Hollow. Patches of the fungus absorb words spoken nearby and later repeat them in different places as faint echoes.
Careless outsiders may find private conversations resurfacing in public plazas or council-chambers, incriminating them or revealing secrets. Some Umbrin shadow-wrights cultivate Whisper-Fungus as an information web, while others burn it on sight.
