The Axis Rails are air-cushion railways spanning Civitas Prime and adjacent districts of Aeterron. Powered by chained capacitor pylons, the rails move trams with razor-precise timing, their schedules woven into the civic Codex itself.
During discharge festivals, pylons release sequenced arcs of lightning along the route, turning transport into spectacle. Any major delay on the Axis Rails is treated as a civic failure and investigated as a possible Time-Theft.
