The Silent Ring-Stone is a newly sprouted dolmen in the Nokhul Vale that bears no runes and swallows every spoken word. Even Stone-Cantors hear only their own heartbeat when they stand within its circle.
Shamans fear the ancestors are not silent but starving, bereft of vows and memories to feed upon. Some propose offering it a powerful oath, a treasured memory, or even a life-breath; others warn that anything given may never return.
