The Silent Sunfast is the Deepglow mid-winter rite in Bastion of Aurex. For ten hours during Tassaryn's peak pearl light the Bastion falls completely silent: no fire lit, no words spoken, no records made.
Shadow-Stewards guide meditations from cliff perches while citizens sit in reflection. After the fast, participants are said to speak with rare clarity; many courts grant those who observed Sunfast a measure of extra credence in subsequent disputes.
