The Guest Grove is a sacred planting ground in the Nokhul Vale where visitors are required to sow a seed upon arrival. Each seed is tended by wardens as a living ledger of hospitality.
Uprooting or neglecting one's seed incurs Root-Debt, branding the offender with bark-scar runes that tighten each dawn. Pilgrims often return to check on the health of their guest-tree, measuring their bond to the Vale in roots and leaves rather than coin.
