The Petal Ledges are flower-studded cliff balconies in Velkar Spires from which Katari pilgrims launch the Moonfold Ascent. Glider-silks woven from moon-moth filament catch thermals rising from distant Mellheiller cyclones, carrying pilgrims upward toward hidden shrines.
During Verdant Zenith the ledges blaze with bloom under Solivar's light, then fall into perfumed shadow during deepglow. Local sky-clans treat the ledges as shared holy ground and duel fiercely with anyone who defiles them.
