Guest's Burden is a hospitality law in Bastion of Aurex. Every visitor must polish and carry a shard-mirror etched with their host's sigil while within Aurexian bounds.
If the mirror dulls through neglect or cracks through carelessness, the bearer is declared oathless until they submit to a trial in a Prism-Forum beneath Solarion Keep. Host and guest alike are judged for the state of the burdened mirror.
