Simiah Trick-Trials are playful but binding challenges posed by canopy-folk across the Nokhul Vale. Outsiders are invited to prove balance, wit, and honesty through riddles, rope-contests, and narrow branch-duels suspended above root-paths.
Refusing the trials or cheating earns the mark of "Riverblind", a whispered label that spreads among ferrymen and root-wardens. Those deemed Riverblind find boats unavailable, guides unhelpful, and forest paths mysteriously closing against them.
