The Calibration is an early-spring festival in Aeterron during which citizens disassemble a personal device - or a non-critical part of themselves, if Clank - and reassemble it under the supervision of Axis Monks.
Success is celebrated as proof of continued competence; failure is logged as a communal "error-state" for others to learn from. Adventurers visiting during the Calibration often find cheap repairs and upgrades, as guilds compete to demonstrate their prowess.
