Magnetic Tempests are storms sweeping across Verbury Bay and surrounding coasts of Aeterron. They scramble compass-cores, erase resonance bearings, and can wipe unsheltered logic matrices.
Pilots follow luminous gyro-kites tethered to spire towers to maintain safe courses. False kites launched by saboteurs have lured ships into basalt shoals and enemy ambushes.
